Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are a continual need at the Wichita Children's Home. Your talents can be used to fill a variety of roles either as an individual or in groups. And, since the Home is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, volunteers are utilized around the clock, allowing you to select the time best suited for you. As a volunteer, you can maintain a consistent schedule or opt for a flexible one, depending upon your availability. See our volunteer opportunities list for more information.
General Wish List
As the only emergency residential shelter for children in our community, the Wichita Children’s Home provides safety, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. From tiny, fragile infants to experience-hardened teenagers, the Home cares for victims of abuse, abandonment, neglect and homelessness, as well as runaways and those facing family crisis. Many of these children arrive with just the clothes on their back. The Home works to meet the needs of each child and work with their families to ensure their future safety and well-being.

Planned Giving
Planned Giving allows you to bestow lasting gifts on the Wichita Children's Home — as well as your loved ones — while protecting your valuable assets from income and estate taxes. Planned Giving can provide guaranteed income for life, creating a gift that will live on long after the donor's death.

Memberships
Our most faithful supporters earn membership in Kids Club, a special group reserved for those who give $1,000 or more to the Wichita Children's Home. Many Kids Club members are ongoing supporters of the Home, giving $1,000 each year to help maintain the Home's existing programs. Click here to learn more...

The Wichita Children's Home maintains two primary channels of communication with its individual and corporate supporters.
