Foster Care Families

We rely on the support of many outstanding trauma-informed foster care families to care for children in crisis. The WCH Foster Care Team educates, supervises, and supports these families to meet the needs of children in crisis and provide safe and nurturing homes for children aged 0-12.

Once a child is admitted, foster families step in to provide a trauma-responsive, safe, and loving environment. They offer a stable, family atmosphere where children feel secure and cared for. Foster parents provide supervision, physical care, recreation, transportation, nutrition responsibilities, etc. They also collaborate closely with WCH professionals to meet every child's needs fully.
