Safe Shelter & Drop-In Center
CrossRoads Emergency Shelter and Drop-In Center provides essential services and resources for youth in crisis who are experiencing homelessness, have run away, or are at risk of trafficking and exploitation.
Emergency Shelter
CrossRoads Emergency Shelter is the community’s only 24-hour low-barrier emergency shelter for youth aged 18-24 experiencing homelessness. We assist and support young people who have aged out of foster care or have experienced trauma, destabilization, distress, or victimization. Our 30+ day program helps youth develop long-term goals for safe and stable housing, education, and employment.
Drop-In Center
The CrossRoads Drop-In Center is a low-barrier space dedicated to supporting runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth 24 or younger. Guided by trauma-responsive practices and a caring staff, we ensure these young people receive immediate services to meet their most basic needs including food, hygiene supplies, showers, clothing, laundry facilities, mail services, health care, WiFi and computers with internet access. We also provide transportation for referrals to mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and other vital community resources.
