Polaris
Polaris, our youth residential program typically for 16- to 18-year-olds under the guardianship of DCF, is designed to provide our youth a caring, trusting, and stable environment.
Like the North Star, Polaris helps our youth chart a course for their future. Onsite staff and case managers are available 24/7 to help youth develop decision-making, coping, and social skills while addressing any underlying trauma. Youth also learn independent living skills, budgeting, cooking, gaining employment, and options for education or careers after high school. Our continuum of care is designed to aid in healing, promote recovery from trauma, and help our youth either move home or live independently in safe and stable housing.
