Safe Place
WCH Safe Place offers 24-hour crisis counseling for youth 24 and under by calling 316-262-HOME (4663) and an immediate in-person response to any youth in need at a designated Safe Place site.
WCH Safe Place partners with Wichita/Sedgwick County agencies and businesses, providing 24/7/365 access to help at over 80 Safe Place sites (including fire stations, libraries, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and QuikTrip® convenience stores). Our trained staff provides immediate help and safety by connecting them to shelter and resources. These crises include youth who have run away because of abusive or dangerous situations at home, are experiencing homelessness, or are victims of human trafficking.
If you are 24 or under and need help, call our hotline (316) 262-HOME (4663), go to an Area QuikTrip® or another designated Safe Place site, or text the word SAFE and your location to 44357.
