Children & Youth Experiencing Grief

Kidzcope provides children experiencing grief and their families with community and peer support, ensuring no child ever has to grieve alone. Within our walls, families find comfort, healing, and most importantly, hope.

The Kidzcope program at WCH extends no-fee, peer-based bereavement services to the community’s children (ages 3-18) and their caregivers, facilitated by our dedicated team of trained staff and volunteers. Our 8-week program uses expressive art and other therapeutic activities to help children understand the depth of their grief, express their feelings, nurture healing, honor memories, and find personal empowerment as they navigate the changes resulting from the death, loss, or separation of a loved one.
